This benefit is for Rob Canum Jr. who is battling Chronic Lyme Disease. Contracted 16 years ago, it laid dormant until a series of traumatic physical and emotional events triggered its emergence. Rob is 26 years old, stands 6’1” but only weighs 120lbs. He is now on a permanent IV that runs from the inside of his left elbow, through the large vein, up and through his rib cage and into the top of his heart. This is called a Picc line. He has connectable IV lines attached to his arm at all times. Rob’s care is over $100 a day and he has no insurance. This benefit will also be held to raise awareness of Lyme disease. While most of the proceeds from this benefit will go to helping Rob manage his care, some money will go toward starting a non-profit charity that will be dedicated to raising awareness of the disease.

We plan to hold the event every year.
